The sequel for the 2013 movie Escape Plan is in its starting stages of production.
No, really….
Sylvester Stallone, who played the title character Ray Breslin in the first film, is set to return again for the sequel. No word on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return at this stage.
Miles Chapman will also be returning as the writer of the film, which will begin its production stages in March next year.
The story of escape plan 2 is not yet known, however it’s said that there will be a “Chinese element” in the sequel.
The first film received modest reviews, rather typical for an action film of its type and it is likely that this sequel will be much the same.
