Tarantino and Thurman ‘discussing’ Kill Bill Vol 3

July 30th, 2019 by Marc Comments

It’s been for years since we heard anything about a potential third Kill Bill movie (here) but it seems that writer/director Quentin Tarantino is back thinking about what might be next for Uma Thurman’s Bride.

“Me and Uma have talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth,” Tarantino says of a potential third movie.

“I have thought about it a little further. We were talking about it literally last week. If any of my movies were going to spring from my other movies, it would be a third Kill Bill.”

While Kill Bill Vols 1 and 2 were a fairly self-contained story, there were always rumours that Tarantino and Thurman had planned on revisiting the character of Beatrix AKA The Bride a number of years after assassin Vernita Green (played by Vivica A. Fox) was murdered by Beatrix in front of her daughter, Nikki. The idea being that Nikki would someday return to get revenge, beginning the story all over again.

It’s been fifteen years since Kill Bill Vol 2… years have passed.

I think it’s time Beatrix retuned.

What say you all?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
