He was a shadowy ghost in the first movie (after the fan backlash when it was leaked that William Fichtner was meant to play him) but now the sequel has put an identifiable face behind the steel face of The Shredder…
Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift and Wolverine star Brian Tee has joined the cast as Oroku Saki, joining the aforementioned Fichtner, Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Will Arnett as Vern Fenwick, along with newbies Stephen Amell as Casey Jones and Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman. David Green is set to direct from a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec.
Surely this will mean a bigger role for Shredder this time out and, with the inclusion of Bebop, Rocksteady and Casey Jones, we’re really hoping this one goes full out cartoon series crazy.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will hit cinemas on June 3rd, 2016.
