It looks like Oblivion star Andrea Riseborough is in talks to play Top Dollar, the villain in the upcoming The Crow reboot…
The movie, directed by Corin Hardy will star Jack Huston as Eric Draven and has been penned by Claire Wilson based on James O’Barr’s original graphic novel.
But, here’s the controversial bit – Top Dollar in the original movie and novel was a man and played by Michael Wincott in the Brandon Lee 1994 movie (below).
We really like Riseborough and have no doubt she could play a great villain, but we get the feeling the purists aren’t going to be impressed and might call stunt-casting.
