Okay Denzel fans, get ready to get re-equalized. Sony has announced plans to deliver a sequel to the highly popular Washington vehicle based on 80s show of the same name. Though no details were released, Sony did present the logo for the new film at CinemaCon 2015.
The original film saw Denzel channel his inner Liam Nesson to take down a Russian mafia group responsible for turning out young girls. It seems a sequel was a no brained as the first film made a ton of cash, mostly thanks to loads of slick action and the drawing power of its main star.
