There has been news regarding Twentieth Century Fox’s long gestating remake of John Carpenter’s seminal classic, Escape from New York. You may be asking yourself, ‘Why are they remaking said film?!’ Yea we don’t know either…
The Hollywood Reporter gave an update that Creator of the hit BBC show, Luther, Neil Cross, has signed on to provide a script with original director, Carpenter serving as executive producer.
20th century Fox are looking to replicate with Escape from New York, the success they’ve had from rebooting Planet of the Apes.
