Yes, it seems that Illumination studios, the company behind Minions and Despicable Me, are making a Super Mario Bros. animated movie in association with Nintendo.
It seems that Illumination and Nintendo have been working on the concept for almost a year withNintendo insisting that have creative control over the movie and Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, acting as a producer.
This is as far as the official news goes for now, but we’ll keep you posted as and when we hear more.
