It seems that the new Die Hard movie has an official title other than the so far rumoured Die Hard: Year One.
The new movie will be directed by Len Wiseman and will star Bruce Willis as McClane in the present day and will also star a younger actor as a version of the charatcer in his 20s who we will meet again for the first time as a case comes up that will entangle both young and old McClane.
And the title?
Well, producer Lorenzo diBonaventura has revealed it will be called:
McClane: A Die Hard Story.
Nah, only kidding, it’s going to be called… McClane.
“You can tell our intention by the fact that the title page we handed in says, McClane,” diBonaventura said.
“We want you to get invested in John McClane more than ever before.”
He also added that fans should rest assured that Willis will be as much a part of it as whoever the new actor is: “I don’t know how you do Die Hard without Bruce,” he said.
“The idea that he’s not very significant in this movie is not accurate at all. We are gonna explore John McClane in his twenties. But just as prominent is the 60-year-old version.”
