The Skywalker Twins Will Return Too?

February 17th, 2013 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

Harrison Ford may be finalizing the details to reprise his role as Han Solo in Star Wars Episode VII, let’s pray they don’t alter the deal further. Rumors say he won’t be alone.

According to Showbiz 411, the rumors are true and all three principal cast members from the original Star Wars trilogy, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford, will return as Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and Han Solo in the upcoming, J.J. Abrams directed Episode: VII.

The site also reports that while the characters will appear in the movie, it won’t be their story. “Obviously this new movie won’t pick up where Return of the Jedi ended,” the site reports. “It’s some time in the future. Han, Princess Leia (with a presumably better hairstyle), and Luke Skywalker will be a lot older. Their children will be the new main characters.”

Skywalker and Solo kids! Let the casting speculation begin. I wonder if they will be named after their EU counterparts from the novels? Anakin and Ben get my vote.

While technically still a rumor, like most everything else that I give you guys. The sheer number of reports all saying the same thing is starting to pile up and point toward a sequel that features most if not all of the original cast that survived story wise.

Can Lando be far behind?
