The anticipation for Suicide Squad may be a little overshadowed right now by Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but these brand new character posters are a real work of art, showing off the deadly flair of each of the team’s deadly members.

Director David Ayer and the cast took to Twitter, writes Squareeyed, to unveil their individual posters. Ayer unveiled the film’s brand new title spread, including the main cast, release date and a lollipop that we’re instantly suspicious of…

Following his lead, Karen Fukuhara (Katana), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Adam Beach (Slipknot), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Boomerang) and Jay Hernandez (Diablo) all shared their own on Instagram and Twitter, with the official Suicide Squad account sharing those of Will Smith’s character Deadshot, Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag and Jared Leto’s Joker.

What also has our attention is the hashtag #harleystattooparlor with it seemingly having something to do with the South by Southwest, held from this weekend, from the 11th to the 20th. More on that as we get it.

Synopsis: It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

The #SuicideSquad is coming to #SXSW let’s see who’s bad enough to get inked #HarleysTatooParlor #Enchantress #Junemoon

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
