It was only last week when we learned that Jet Li joined the cast of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Well new information has emerged that Tony Jaa (Fast and Furious 7) has signed on too.
“Tony Jaa joining the cast of xXx 3: The Return of Xander Cage further demonstrates the level of extreme athleticism and action that we are going to deliver to audiences,” said the Revolution CEO Vince Totino.
It’s currently not yet clear what role the actor will play in the film.
COO Scot Hemming added: “The xXx franchise is known for spy plots, espionage twists, government turns and extreme action; with Tony now part of that formula, he rounds out the cast that won’t disappoint.”
Tony joins the cast of, Vin Diesel (reprising his role as Xander Cage), Samuel L. Jackson (The Hateful Eight), Jet Li (The Expendables), Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries), Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black) and UFC champion Conor McGregor
The film will be directed by D.J. Caruso. xXx: The Return of Xander Cage will be released in 2017
