We are days away from the arrival of the Power Rangers film, and for those who are new to Power Rangers, it’ll be an interesting take on the classic series. But, for those who were part of the original era, this film is about to mean a lot more.
As ComicBookMovie.com notes, the production notes for the film have been released, and two very important names have been revealed as cameos in the film. Those names Jason David Frank and Amo Jo Johnson. For fans of the show, they know those are the actors who played Tommy and Kimberly in the original series, making this a very fun thing to look out for.
Now, as they’re cameos, it’s likely they won’t be there long, but the fact that Lionsgate is respecting the history and legacy of the original Power Rangers is a nice touch.
While it is sad that the rest of the original team seemingly won’t be in the film, it is nice that at least some are going to be seen, even if only for a little while.
