UK Teaser Poster lands for The Dark Tower… and who is that lurking at the top?

March 19th, 2017 by Marc Comments

So we finally have a poster for the first movie in the proposed Dark Tower series based on the book series by Stephen King.

And it’s a beauty of a poster.

Showing Roland and Jake (Idris Elba and Tom Taylor) at the bottom of an upside down image of New York, creating the Tower itself in the centre, the poster also features Matthew McConaughey as Walter O’Dim AKA The Man In Black at the top, walking on the upside down street… but… who is this to the left of the image!?

I’m a big fan of the books, having read them several times, but while I’ve a few ideas who this may be, I’m curious to see if we’ll find out for sure anytime soon… and surely we’re getting a trailer soon?

We’ll keep you posted but go now, there are other worlds than these…

At Cinemas July 28

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
