It was inevitable that Pixels wouldn’t hold on to the top spot for a second week as it only managed to get to the number one spot thanks to the inclusion of what it took on previews last week, although the film replacing it, Paper Towns, only managed to take the top spot thanks to what it took from previews as well.

If you took what Paper Towns took in previews out of the equation then the film would have debuted in sixth place and Inside Out would of been this week’s new number one.

There were a few other new entries in this week’s chart, they included the big screen version of the BBC Three comedy program Bad Education which went in at number eight, a comedy reboot of the National Lampoon franchise with Vacation going in at number seven and horror sequel Sinister 2 which went straight in at number three.

Upcoming – Not a big week this week for new releases, however if you’re after something new then there is NWA drama Straight Outta Compton, the reboot of the Hitman franchise with Agent 47 and the Zac Effron comedy We Are Your Friends.
