US top ten box office countdown (WE 25th May 2014)

It was inevitable that Godzilla would only hold on to the top spot for just one week as it had a fight on its hands from X-Men: Days of Future past and low and behold the X-Men are reigning supreme taking just over $90 million.

Only one other new film managed to find its way into this week’s chart and that is the awful comedy Blended starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

New Releases – Two big releases are out this week, Disney’s telling of Maleficent starring Angelina Jolie and Seth MacFarlane comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West.
