Although Zack Snyder has said that Batman’s origins won’t be a big part of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice because it’s so well known at this time, we figure that it will at least be referred to… afterall, that tragic night in Crime Alley is why Batman exists.
And now we may have a glimpse of what is to come… is that Jeffrey Dean Morgan in that portrait? And, if it is, is he Thomas Wayne? Check out the pic below and let us know what you think… (continues after pic)
Now the picture itself doesn’t prove anything… will Morgan be in the movie as Wayne? Perhaps. Is this even Wayne? perhaps. Will the paining just be a nod to the fact that, having played The Comedian in Watchmen, the actor and Zack Snyder are friends and Snyder liked the idea of him in the movie… as a portrait? Perhaps…
But we have to say, it’s pretty likely this is Thomas Wayne, the man who would die in on the street with his wife, Martha, in front of their son who would on that very night swear to avenge them.
Let us know your thoughts but, for the record, I think he looks just how I’ve always imagined Thomas.
