WATCH: Did Shazam! director David F Sandberg tease Batman for the movie?

November 28th, 2017 by Marc Comments

Oh, isn’t this interesting?

Shazam! director David F Sandberg has shared a clip from Batman/Superman: Publin Enemies on his Instagram page (bottom), featuring Batman meeting young Billy Batson and his later-ego, Shazam!

The full scene in the movie has Batman and Superman fighting Shazam! and Hawkman:

(Continues after clip)

But Sandberg just shared the part of Batman thinking Billy was hurt before meeting Shazam!

And, needless to say, this has the internet pondering what it could mean.

Does this mean Affleck’s Batman will feature in the Shazam! movie? Honestly, we don’t really think so, we just think Sandberg wanted to share a cool Shazam! clip.

However…

Since we know from Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad and Justice League that Batman and Wonder Woman are actively trying to build a superhero team, it’s not impossible that Batman WILL seek out Shazam! in the movie…

Anyway, the clip is cool. Batman is cool. Shazam! is cool and Sandberg is cool. And here they all are together.

Job done.
