WATCH: Fans animate Zack Snyder’s planned Justice League 2 as motion comic

After the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League while the world was in the depth of a pandemic, it felt like a beacon of home to many fans.

And, given the subject matter and characters in the movie, that seems quite proper. Soon after its release, we started getting an idea of where Justice League 2 & 3 would have taken the story had DC/Warners not lost the plot and derailed Snyder’s plan for the DCEU; you can read all the details here but if that’s not enough, the 4Nerds Network on YouTube have decided to take matters into their own hands and develop a motion comic taking what we know of the planned story and imagining it for us to watch, read and enjoy.

Check it out below and let us know what you think and hopefully we’ll see it all in glorious live-action someday in the not-to-distant future.

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will debut on March 18th on HBO Max.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
