We think, along with comic fans across the globe, that’s it’s a fairly safe bet we’ll be seeing Black Panther in the Marvel Movie Universe very soon.
But the question is, who will play him and how soon can we expect to see the character appear?
Appearing on breakfast show The Breakfast Club, actor Chadwick Boseman – currently doing the press thing for his performance as James Brown in the movie Get On Up – got talking about Marvel and in particular Black Panther and he dropped some cryptically interesting comments. Starting off saying “Ahhh, I don’t know anything about that,” the young actor then added, “Until the contract is signed, I don’t know.”
Hold on, what? Did he just confirm he IS in talks and may even be close to signing on? Watch this space for more info as it comes along… but you know that already.
Continues after the picture…
And if Panther is close to being cast, does that mean he may be introduced in Avengers: Age of Ultron? Since he rules Wakanda, the country that supplies the metal for, among other things, Captain America’s shield and we’ve all seen the image of the Shield from the second Avengers movie (above), we think it may well be a possibility. Only time will tell…
Is he a good choice? Is there someone you’d rather see in the role? Let us know below, @Nerdfollowing or on Facebook
