After the awesome new trailer landed today – we’re still watching, rewatching, sobbing, rewatching, scouring the internet for new merchandise etc – we now have a cool, yet fairly sp0iler-free commentary from writer/director Jason Reitman.
The commentary, below, talks about how important family is to the movie as a whole and where many of the scenes in the trailer get their origins… also pretty cool that that zombie is totally practical and also that if you look REALLY closely, that character at the end has a pretty important tattoo on his arm.
Anyway, I’m not going to spoil anything, I’ll let Reitman break it down for you:
From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan
