Get ready for the new daily show

WATCH: Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Rene Russo reunite for Lethal Weapon’s 30th Anniversary

You know what? Something made us a little sad tonight…

While getting ready to post this awesome video I Googled Lethal Weapon images and got mostly images of the new TV Series (which I’ve not watched, so can’t comment, really) and, no matter how good or bad that show is, it’s not what Lethal Weapon should be when you Google it.

Lethal Weapon is Mel Gibson and Danny Glover bickering and shooting bad guys; it’s awesome supporting characters like Joe Pesci, Rene Russo and Chris Rock. It’s the definitive 1980/90s action series.

And now the three leads, Gibson, Glover and Russo are back in this fun interview marking that movie’s 30th Anniversary.

And, of course, they get asked about a fifth instalment and all three are cagey and joke about how old they all are now… but isn’t that the point of Lethal Weapon? Shouldn’t they be too old for this s#@t?

I sure know I’d be front of the line to see it… wouldn’t you?

Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Rene Russo reunited for the first time in Los Angeles since shooting the final scenes of “Lethal Weapon 4.”

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
