In our second X-Men: Days of Future Past story of the day (sorry, but this is how it goes sometimes) we get a look at a very intense battle scene – rumoured – to open the movie.
Featuring, among others, Sunspot, Kitty Pride, Bishop and Iceman fighting a Sentinel McX, this looks pretty strong stuff… but will it convince any naysayers?

Mutants are on the verge of extinction. Sending Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time seems to be like the mutants’ last hope, even though it was Kitty in the comics. But when Logan arrives in the 1970s, things aren’t much better. Magneto is coming into his evil power and Charles Xavier is not the man he was in X-Men: First Class, he is broken physically and mentally.
They must unite if mutants are to stand a chance.

Bryan Singer has managed to gather an impressive cast which includes James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman, Peter Dinklage, Patrick Stewart, Omar Sy, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman, Lucas Till and Evan Jonigkeit.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released in theaters on May 22nd, 2014 in the UK and May 23rd in the US
