OK, we have to admit it, the new Attack on Titan trailer really delivers the goods…

In a world where people live in cities behind giant walls that guard them from the giant humanoid monsters beyond, one day, without warning, the Titans attack and change everything for ever.

As a fan of the anime, I think this looks great although I can’t help feeling the Titans are much too big. Is that just me?

Oh and check this out, if you get to see it in Japan: ” the two films will be the first Japanese films to employ four different systems for an immersive experience. With the 4DX or MX4D systems, certain theaters have motion seats that move in sync with certain action sequences onscreen. Similarly, effects such as scents and wind will operate in accordance with the action onscreen. Theaters with D-Box seats that move and IMAX screens will also screen the films”

Cool? Cool.

The first movie will open in Japan on August 1, and the second movie, Attack on Titan: End of the World, will open on September 19. Madman will screen the movies in theaters in Australia and New Zealand this year.

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
