July 16th, 2020 by Marc Comments

Well, there’s yet another New Mutants trailer out today and this one is to announce that, although there’s not going to be any MCU news, the New Mutants will be set for Comic-Con@Home next week.

Comic-Con@Home takes place from Wednesday, July 22nd to Sunday, July 26th and will feature more than 350 panels that cover everything you’d expect from Comic-Con, including movies, TV, comic books and more but, because of that damned virus, this year, it will all be happening online.

On the plus side, it means, for the first time, that everyone can truly feel a part of the event.

Also, it seems the movie is still trying to hold on to that August 28th release date… seems a little unlikely given the current situation, doesn’t it?

Anyway, we remain confident that you will eventually get to see the movie… when is the big question.

In one week, the New Mutants are coming to #ComicConAtHome! tune in on thursday, july 23 at 2pm pt and join Ira Madison III in a special virtual panel with the cast and director Josh Boone. check out this special look now!

20th Century Studios in association with Marvel Entertainment presents “The New Mutants,” an original horror thriller set in an isolated hospital where a group of young mutants is being held for psychiatric monitoring. When strange occurrences begin to take place, both their new mutant abilities and their friendships will be tested as they battle to try and make it out alive.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
