Another movie from the ever-increasing list of movies that got delayed so much over this damned virus I forgot it exists, The King’s Man gets another trailer announcing it’s release mere days before Christmas.

We admire their optimism and can’t wait to be there if/when they’re right.

The third movie in The Kingsman series, this movie goes back to the origins of the elite secret agency and with Matthew Vaughn directing and a cast including Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton and Djimon Hounsou we are at least hoping it is more on par with the first movie rather than the atrocious sequel.

Plus, it comes out at Christmas, so that will get it some good grace if nothing else.

As a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King’s Man.

Director: Matthew Vaughn
Based on the Comic Book “The Secret Service” by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons
Cast: Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance

Coming to theaters on December 22

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
