And Jem and the Holograms was certainly not one we anticipated… be yet, here we are. Can it update the cartoon and make Jem and the team strong, positive rolemodels for the girls? We’ll have to wait until October to find out.
Jem and the Holograms stars Aubrey Peeples as Jem, with Stefanie Scott, Hayley Kiyoko, and Aurora Perrineau playing the Holograms. The film also stars Juliette Lewis, Ryan Guzman, and Molly Ringwald, and is directed by Jon Chu. The movie is set open on October 23.
