WATCH: New trailer is discovered for Dora And The Lost City Of Gold

July 12th, 2019 by Marc Comments

So we have a new trailer for Dora And The Lost City Of Gold and it’s pretty bad… however, if it’s a tongue-in-cheek as I’m hoping it could be a lot of dumb fun.

The Dora narrating as a little girl gag shows that the movie might just be as self-aware as it needs to be. Plus… Swiper and Boots are in this.

This trailer dives deep into the jungle as Dora leads her and her friends through action-packed obstacles and captures the amazing adventure audiences can anticipate when ‘DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD’ hits cinemas. As the jungle expert, Dora proves she is “Queen of the jungle,” and nothing will stand in her way to lead her family and friends to safety and maybe even find The Lost City of Gold.

Having spent most of her life exploring the jungle with her parents, nothing could prepare Dora (Isabela Moner) for her most dangerous adventure ever – High School. Always the explorer, Dora quickly finds herself leading Boots (her best friend, a monkey), Diego (Jeff Wahlberg), a mysterious jungle inhabitant (Eugenio Derbez), and a rag tag group of teens on a live-action adventure to save her parents (Eva Longoria, Michael Peña) and solve the impossible mystery behind a lost city of gold.

Director: James Bobin

Cast: Isabela Moner, Eugenio Derbez, Michael Peña, Eva Longoria, Adriana Barraza, Temuera Morrison, Jeff Wahlberg, Nicholas Coombe, Madeleine Madden, and Danny Trejo

‘DORA AND THE LOST CITY OF GOLD’ WILL OPEN IN CINEMAS 16th AUGUST

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
