There are a few franchises that inspire true fandom… we mean real, honest to goodness, love – Star Wars, Bond, Pokemon (?) and Harry Potter.
And, a a result of that, a new fan movie has decided to chronicle the life of Tom Riddle, the man who would become Harry Potter’s arch nemesis, Voldemort.
And they have done an admirable job… check it out below; it’s a lot of fun to see it reference events we know from the books as well as details they work of for themselves about how Riddle became the most notorious wizard in history.
What made Tom Riddle become Voldemort? What happened in those years, and what really went down at Hogwarts when he came back? There are some clues in the books which have not been transposed at all in the movies, but a lot goes unspoken. This is the story we want to tell: the rise of the Dark Lord before Harry Potter and his first demise.
