The second vlog from James Bond: Spectre has gone online and it focuses on director Sam Mendes, and why he returned to the Bond franchise…

Director, Sam Mendes says, “The reasons I’m doing the second Bond movie are the reasons I would do any movie, really, which is all to do with the story.  And in this movie, ‘Spectre,’ what you have is a movie entirely driven by Bond.  He is on a mission from the very beginning.”

Additionally, “It’s about whether or not to pursue the life he’s always pursued, whether he matters and is he going to continue or not.  And you’re going to have to come to see the movie to find out whether he does.”

SYNOPSIS:
A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

SPECTRE is set for global release on November 6, 2015.

UPDATE!!!: A key addition to the cast of Spectre is no doubt Dave Bautista as henchman Mr. Hinx. Now, we not only have our first look at the character, but Bautista’s view on the character itself.

Mr Hink

“When I came over to meet Sam [Mendes], I only asked two questions,” Bautistsa tells Empire, recalling his first meeting with the director. “I asked him if Mr. Hinx was a badass. He said, ‘Yes, he’s a bada ss.’ I said, ‘Well, is Mr. Hinx intelligent?’ He said, ‘Very.’ That’s what I like about Mr. Hinx. He’s very well-dressed and very well-mannered. I’m not just here to fight people. He has a sense of humor. He definitely knows what a metaphor is.”

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
