Clearly capitalising on Joker’s release later this week (here’s our review), DC/Warners have teased the arrival of the full Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) trailer tomorrow in a very fun way.

Firstly, they have revealed a batch of new posters (scroll to the bottom of the page) including all the same posters used in a clever way to reveal the trailer’s release date – scroll down, just not as far.

Then they teased the footage below, presumably from the actual trailer, of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Montoya and Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain.

It’s been hard to get a real feel for the movie so far, but hopefully tomorrow we’ll have a better idea.

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain and Ewan McGregor as the villain of the piece, Black Mask

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) swoops in on February 7th, 2020

The trailer was imaginatively revealed over a series of images on the movie’s official Twitter that spelled out:

And, on top of this, we got all the images minus the abuse Harley seems to inflicted on them with her mallet to reveal the trailer release date:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
