Yes! We finally have the official teaser for 2023’s Godzilla Minus One sequel, Godzilla Minus Zero!
While the teaser, revealed at Tokyo’s Godzilla Day, shows nothing of the movie – because, well, there’s nothing to show yet – there have nevertheless been a few details about the highly anticipated sequel.
Godzilla Minus Zero (Godzilla -0.0) will once again be directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who won an Oscar for the first movie’s incredible special effects which cost a fraction of the movie’s Hollywood rivals.

The movie is being called “not just as a sequel but as a statement piece,” whatever that means and it’s being reported that Yamazaki and Toho are hoping for the movie to be in cinemas by the end of 2026 with filming gearing to head to New Zealand and Norway before the end of this year.
Godzilla Minus One was one of my favourite movies of the last few years, feeling daring and fresh and completely regenerating the mythology of Godzilla, and I cannot wait to see what Yamazaki and his team have in store for us next!
Thoughts? I know you have them and I wanna hear ’em all!
