So we finally have a trailer for JJ Abrams’ produced Overlord.
The soldiers V nazi super-zombie movie has been coming for a long time now and until recently it was touted as being the fourth Cloverfield movie but apparently not as a new direct sequel to the first Cloverfield is in the pipeline… but we still reckon it could be connected. But we’re daft like that.
On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success. But as they approach their target, they begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. They find themselves fighting against supernatural forces, part of a Nazi experiment
Overlord is directed by Julius Avery (Son of a Gun) and features a cast that includes Jovan Adepo (Fences), Wyatt Russell (22 Jump Street), Jacob Anderson (Game of Thrones), Dominic Applewhite (The King’s Speech), Pilou Asbaek (Ghost in the Shell), Iain de Caestecker (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), John Magaro (The Big Short), Mathilde Ollivier (The Misfortunes of Francois Jane) and Bokeem Woodbine (Spider-Man: Homecoming).
