We have the trailer for the highly anticipated Army of the Dead prequel, Army of Thieves from SDCC@Home.
The movie stars Matthias Schweighöfer who is returning from Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead as German safecracker Ludwig Dieter along with new additions to the series including Game of Thrones’ Nathalie Emmanue along with Ruby O Fee, Guz Khan and Jonathan Cohen.
The movie will also be directed by Schweighöfer while Zack and Deborah Snyder will be producing.
The movie, set prior to the events of “Army of the Dead,” takes place during the early stages of a zombie outbreak and centers on Dieter, in his early days of safecracking, as he is hired by a mysterious woman to pull off a heist with the help of a misfit crew of aspiring thieves.
There’s no release date yet, but I’d imagine we’ll see this in 2021.
