We wrote an article recently about movies that could be part of the John Wick universe and if this was my the same folks, it would definitely fit the bill.
Gunpowder Milkshake stars Doctor Who and Jumanji star Karen Gillan as hit-woman Sam who kills the wrong people and finds herself being hunted but luckily she has her mum, Lena Headey, to help along with their friends Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett and Carla Gugino. This looks like it’s a fun movie full of kick-ass ladies done well and we’re all here for it!
The movie is set for Netflix on July 14th. See you in front of the telly that night.
Sam (KAREN GILLAN) was only 12 years old when her mother Scarlet (LENA HEADEY), an elite assassin, was forced to abandon her.
