WATCH: Train to Busan’s Heo Myeong-haeng and Don Lee reunite in Badland Hunters trailer

Yes! A new movie from the guys who brought us the original Train to Busan? Yes, please!

Feeling like a cross between Train to Bussan and Mad Max, Badland Hunters sees Heo Myeong-haeng once again directing Don Lee and this time, they’re post-apocalypse!

Lee was brilliant in Train to Busan as a fighter with a family caught on a train full of zombies and here he’s fighting to save a friend. Hey, if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.

Years after Seoul turns into an apocalyptic wasteland, a tough huntsman takes matters into his own hands when a teenager he’s close to is abducted by a mad doctor who conducts experiments on humans.

Directed by Heo Myeong-haeng, the film stars Don Lee, Lee Hee Jun, Lee Jun-young, Roh Jeong Eui, and An Ji-hye.

Badland Hunters hits Netflix on 26th January 2024.

Hunt or die. Welcome to the badlands.

Don Lee from 《Train to Busan》, 《The Roundup》, and 《Eternals》 is now a tough hunter in the dystopian world, who fights for survival and salvation.

Will hunters save us all? or will villains take us all?

Badland Hunters | January 26, only on Netflix

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
