Yes! We finally have our first teaser trailer for the Into the Spider-verse sequel… along with a lot of very cool news.
The trailer, below, sees Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) calling on Miles Morales’ (Shameik Moore) Spider-man for help in another multi-verse adventure and, like us, he willingly accepts.
But that isn’t all.
At Brazil’s CCXP Worlds 2021 expo it was revealed that the new movie is called Spider-man: Across the Spidererse and it’s not just one movie, it’s two!
Yes, the trailer below is for Spider-man: Across the Multiverse Part One which arrives in cinemas on October 2022, reveals that the story is so big, it needs two installments! Not only that, but the second part, also being created at the same time as the first, will be arriving in cinemas in 2023, so we won’t have too long to wait.
This is great news as the first movie was an instant animated and superhero movie classic and this one will be highly anticipated here at FTN HQ.
The movie is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson. David Callaham, Phil Lord and Chris Miller have penned the first film and are currently writing the second part.
See you all at the front of the line next October, folks.
