September 9th, 2023 by Marc Comments

We finally have a trailer for the upcoming Aarman Animation sequel Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and it’s exactly what you’d expect!

While the sequel won’t have Mel Gibson or Julia Sawalha, it does feature returning stars Jane Horrocks, Imelda Staunton and Lynn Ferguson alongside newcomers Thandie Newton, Zachary Levi and Bella Ramsey.

Having pulled off a death-defying escape from Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has finally found her dream – a peaceful island sanctuary for the whole flock, far from the dangers of the human world. When she and Rocky hatch a little girl called Molly, Ginger’s happy ending seems complete. But back on the mainland the whole of chicken-kind faces a new and terrible threat. For Ginger and her team, even if it means putting their own hard-won freedom at risk – this time, they’re breaking in!

Two decades after organizing a feathery union and flying the coop, the heroes of Chicken Run are making a triumphant comeback.

For Ginger and the flock, all is at stake when the dangers of the human world come home to roost; they’ll stop at nothing even if it means putting their own hard-won freedom at risk to save chicken-kind.

It stars Thandie Newton, Zachary Levi, Bella Ramsey, Jane Horrocks, Imelda Staunton, Lynn Ferguson, Josie Sedgwick-Davis, David Bradley, Daniel Mays, and Romesh Ranganathan. Rounding out the flock of villains are Miranda Richardson, Peter Serafinowicz, and Nick Mohammed.

This time, they’re breaking in! Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget hatches on Netflix December 15.
