Wedge Antilles back for The Rise of Skywalker

With all the buzz about the final installment of the Skywalker saga, the closer we get to release the more news we can expect.

And as we have it, there’s a huge bit of news with another original character coming back to reprise his role.

Daniel Lawson will be coming back to be the one and only Wedge Antilles, just another one of the original cast to come back after already witnessing Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford as Luke, Leia and Han, along with Ian McDiarmid donning his Sith robes to return as Emperor Palpatine.

Let’s hope Wedge makes it out alive (is it too late for that Rogue Squadron movie?).

Lawson of course is Ewan McGregor’s uncle which gives him another connection to Star Wars and, here’s another bit… we’re hearing that Greg Grunberg’s Snap Wexley (below)  in the new Star Wars movies is set to be revealed to be Wedge’s stepson.

I’m sure this won’t be the last piece of news or new old cast member joining the end of the Skywalker saga, but you can be sure that when it all breaks we’ll be right here to give you the new. Until then stay nerdy folks, and may the force be with you.
