So Phase 3 of Marvel’s movie lineup will introduce Black Panther, superhero, and king of Wakanda. A nation that houses one of the most precious metals in the world, Vibranium. Yes, THAT Vibranium. As you recall, not only is it the backbone of Captain America’s shield, but it also saved Tony Stark’s life in Iron Man 2.

But also, it was what Ultron sought in Age of Ultron to make what would become The Vision. As you hopefully remember, the Vibranium was taken from Ulysses Klaue on a ship in South Africa. However, we were apparently going to be going to some Wakandan Virbarnium mines in the first draft of things.

Below if a concept art piece showing off the mines, you can see the rest here. Obviously this was changed for the shipyard, possibly so that we arrive in Wakanda in either Civil War or Black Panther’s solo film, but it’s interesting to see what could have been.
