WIN! We have the whole first wave of Bandai’s new line of Star Trek action figures to give to one lucky winner

October 23rd, 2022 by Marc Comments

Prepare to be beamed up… to happiness! Bandai UK has given us the first wave of their awesome new range of Star Trek action figures which are a gorgeous, nostalgia-filled throwback to the figures from the 90s, to give to one lucky winner.

We have one of each figure in the wave for one lucky Trekkie to win – that’s…

From the original Star Trek: Admiral James T. Kirk, Captain Spock and Khan Noonien Singh

From Star Trek: The Next Generation: Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander William Riker and Commander Data and

From Star Trek: Discovery: Michael Burnham and Commander Saru

This new range will bring back all the wonderful memories of the 90s to the old fans like me but also will open a whole new universe of play for the new fans and whether you decide to keep them in the box or open them and use the authentic accessories with each figure, they’ll look great in your collection.

Want to chance your hand at winning this awesome prize? Then answer this simple question:

Which Sex and the City star appeared as a member of the Enterprise crew in Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country?

Know the answer? Then email us at followingthenerd@gmail.com with the answer, marking the email ‘Bandai Trekkie Comp’ and, if you win, we’ll get back in touch.

All entries must be in by midnight on November 15th (UK time). Competition open to UK residents only, sorry, folks.

Bandai Launches NEW Range of Star Trek Toys

Trekkies across the nation can rejoice with the launch of Bandai’s inaugural range of Star Trek toys, and just in time for Star Trek Day on September 8th. Based on the original version of the sci-fi series the collection features eight 5” Collectible Figures, a classic Phaser and of course, the most recognizable ship in the Star Fleet, the U.S.S Enterprise, all in cool Star Trek Universe packaging.

Trekkers can complete their collection with the eight 5” Collectible Figures (RRP £12.99). Authentically detailed, each figure is fully poseable with 14 points of articulation. The well-known characters include Commander Saru, Michael Burnham, Commander William Riker, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander Data, Captain Spock, Khan Noonien Singh and Admiral James T. Kirk. Each figure comes with accessories and its own display stand.

Live long and prosper!

The full Star Trek Original Series range is available to order now at Forbidden Planet and The Entertainer

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
