Remember THIS story about the massive cast set for Avengers: Infinity War?

Well, it looks like the movie will indeed have a massive cast of characters (including Chris Hemsworth and Chris Pratt as Thor and Star-lord), with over 60 being available to use… although it’s unlikely we’ll see them all.

Writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have spoken about having so many character available: “Well, I mean that number is literally — that number comes from the fact that that’s everyone who’s already been introduced. If you line up all the character’s who are available to use from the prior Marvel movies, it racks up to about 60 something characters, let alone the new ones you could bring in.”

McFeely added: “Right. We had our office filled with cards of everybody who was alive and available, and the brothers came in and went, ‘Whoa.’ So that doesn’t mean that everyone is, you know, there’s not going to be 67 lead parts.”

It will be interesting to see who stays and who goes, but we’re guessing it’ll be a safe bet that a large amount of the characters will be needed to stop the threat of Thanos. Providing, that is, he actually gets out of his chair.

Just sayin’.
