Zack Snyder confirms his Justice League will be four-hour movie event on HBO Max

January 17th, 2021 by Marc Comments

Oh, interesting news tonight.

While we learned during last year’s DC Fandome that Zack Snyder’s Justice League would be four one-hour episodes (here), we learned tonight Vero that the event will, in fact, be released as one four-hour (pre-credits) movie and, on top of that, he revealed that a poster and the official release date is coming soon – but it does look like the believed March release is looking likely (here).

And he also confirmed that there will not be a post-credit scene in his Justice League when it arrives – although, in fairness, we’re not exactly surprised. It’s also confirmed it will be R-rated and will get an IMAX release.

PLOT: The Justice League including Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg must battle to save Earth against Steppenwolf and Darkseid. #JusticeLeague #TheSnyderCut #DCFanDome

CAST: CAST: Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher

That’s all we have for now…  are you excited for the release? Let me know.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
