While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a big part of all things Marvel, the company isn’t without other avenues to showcase it’s robust hero and villain lineup. Five shows are set to hit Netflix in the upcoming years, the first of which is Daredevil.

Images have already surfaced about the series, but there are still some things that are unknown. During a Q&A on Twitter, Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight revealed some interesting facts about the upcoming Netflix series.
“•While the black, ninja-like costume is reminiscent of Frank Miller and John Romita, Jr.’s influential ‘Man Without Fear’ miniseries, this incarnation of the superhero is not directly based on that source material. Rather, it’s “just drawing inspiration” from it.
•Though there’s no official word on whether or not Daredevil will have any more seasons beyond the first, DeKnight said there “probably will be more.”
•We will not be seeing the other Netflix shows, such as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, in 2015.
•Fans should expect a lot of Easter Eggs when the full season premieres. Some will be obvious, others more obscure.
•DeKnight side-steps the question of whether or not The Punisher could show up in Daredevil by saying he’d love to write and direct a Punisher movie.
•Lastly, he stated that he’d like to include Wilbur Day A.K.A. Stilt-Man in the show if he could.”

Interesting stuff huh? Does this make you excited for the Daredevil series? Or do you want more? Let us know!
