Well, it’s been on and off since the beginning but the series that was Jessica Jones, then AKA Jessica Jones, is back to Jessica Jones… or Marvel’s Jessica Jones to be precise.
Yes, Krysten Ritter’s character’s name will be the sole focus of the title from here on in.
The story broke when Netflix changed their holding page (below) and the AKA was gone and then it was confirmed by Marvel that, yes, the AKA was a thing of the past.
We reckon it makes sense but get the feeling that, in the long run, it’s not that terribly important.
What do you all think of the new title?
Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones will debut later this year on Netflix.
