Many comic book characters have iconic looks, to the extent that if shows or movies change them, it’s noticeable immediately. For Arrow, many have wondered if Stephen Amell would ever grow the famous Green Arrow goatee, one that was somewhat glimpsed in the pilot episode. He took to Twitter and answered quite definitively:

“100% no. Never. Our show could go 14 seasons and a goatee will never appear. Hope that clears things up. Forever. https://twitter.com/superherofeed/status/626491374343471104 …”

Just so you don’t think he’s stubborn though, he did have a good reason…

“During S2 hiatus I grew a beard & fashioned a goatee while shaving it. Looked like someone with a record trying to blend into a new city.”

Sorry Arrow fans, you’ll just have to settle for the costume…and series…and other things…but not the goatee.
