Arrow vs. Atom

With Arrow and Flash now in their end runs, we’re all looking to news of the next DC shows for our fix. With two officially coming (Supergirl and the newest Flash/Arrow spinoff), there’s a lot to process and enjoy.

Well, for the team-up spinoff of the CW’s Arrow and Flash, the show may have a name officially: “Legends of Tomorrow”.

This comes from the US Patent and Trademark Office, who notes that “Legends of Tomorrow”…”will be used for “Entertainment services in the nature of live-action, comedy, drama, animated and/or reality television programs; production of live-action, comedy, drama, animated, and/or reality television programs.”

So yeah, that seems about right. The title itself is actually rather intriguing, as it magnifies how these heroes (and villains) aren’t legends yet, but most likely will work together to be something that the people of tomorrow will remember.

The show is stated to be airing mid-season next year and will presumably have a 13-episode season order.
