Yes, actress Ashley Judd has joined the series.
Nothing is known about Judd’s role in the show, but we know she joins returning Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Michael Horse,Sheryl Lee, Mädchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, Miguel Ferrer, Ray Wise, Grace Zabriskie, Peggy Lipton and Everett McGill as well as new cast members Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Robert Knepper, James Belushi, Tom Sizemore, Balthazar Getty, Grant Goodeve, Larry Clarke, Caleb Landry Jones and Naomi Watts.
Twin Peaks is set for 2017 on Showtime. It is written and produced by series creators David Lynch and Mark Frost and is directed by Lynch.
