Blue Aliens from Agents of Shield finally confirmed as… SPOILERS

We’ve been wondering, and waiting, since the reveal in Season 1 of Agents of Shield about what race it was that gave Coulson a second chance at life, and could possibly be the origin race of Skye. Now, Marvel has FINALLY given us the answer, and it’s one that many a fan suspected.

The Kree have officially arrived. The reveal itself will take place in the December 2nd episode of the series, titled “Ye Who Enter Here”. Jeffery Bell, who is the executive producer for the series, had this to say about the upcoming reveal.

“Our people don’t know anything about the Kree or that there’s a planet full of them,” Bell says. “What they do know is that the strange carvings created by Coulson after he was injected with the Kree serum are actually the map of a city, and they need to find that city before Hydra does. But where is it? Here or on another planet?”What’s also important about the Kree being revealed is that this lends further credence to the belief that the city Coulson and Hydra are looking for is Attilan, home of the Inhumans. The Inhumans were actually created by the Kree, which is why many a fan suspected that both of them would appear eventually.

While the later belief hasn’t been confirmed (yet), it’s going to be fun to watch when the series returns on December 2nd.
