It looks like CBS are determined to keep expanding their corner of the Star Trek universe.
It’s been revealed that CBS Television Studios and Nickelodeon are working on finalising a deal to bring fans a new Star Trek animated show with a slant towards younger viewers.
The show will be penned by brothers Kevin and Dan Hageman who worked on Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Trollhunters, Hotel Transylvania and The Lego Movie.
This will be the second Star Trek animated series being developed as Lower Decks was given a two-season order at All-Access last October.
We hope you like Star Trek because there’s a lot of it coming…
