Another day, another piece of news about a revived TV show. Today, the show in question is Fox’s revival of the classic 90’s TV series, The X-Files.

A few months back, it was officially confirmed that we would get to see the continuing adventures of Agents Muldur and Scully. So far, any actual stories for the series have yet to be released, however that may have changed.

Recently, Chris Carter, the creator of the show, released the first pre-production photo for the series. This photo was simply clapboard, labelled The X-Files and has confirmation that Chris Carter will direct. However, if you look closely at the board, the scene on it is labelled UFO Test.

It is interesting to posit what this could mean for the series, and what we could see. However, it could also wind up being an elaborate prank on the part of Carter. Whichever it is, the truth is out there.
